I would be cautiously optimistic myself. I hate dormers and I hate dooming, but rather than dooming I'm just suggesting to look at the situation analytically
The biggest elephant in the room is when do people do something about it? And of course, there are a multitude of other less important questions that beg to be asked, but this is inarguably the most important one. Noticing is good, but noticing is less than half the battle. It's just the preliminary stage.
The time will come when we will be required to get over our fear of action because there won't be another choice. We would be wise to take that opportunity when it arises. When we arrive to that precipice and we must choose between action and passivity, what will we do? The time that we have to choose is flowing ever nearer, and it does not ebb
