It's more difficult when these things are institutionalized, for decades upon decades. It's been building up since the 1950s to the precipice we're at today. Well, the 50s were 70 years ago, so this is 70 years of increasingly worse indoctrination vs a few years of the super degenerate fling that was "golden age" Weimar Germany.
And in Weimar, it was mostly a minority of urban wealthy people who did all of that. Most of the german people *always* hated them (which is why both the KPD and the german conservative parties likewise were so popular) America today?
