I quit playing online games. The last one I put much time into was POE II and they RUINED it before official release. I don't even buy from Steam any more. GOG, as faggoty as they are, at least let you OWN the game. But I probably am done purchasing from them as well outside of them bringing back more classics.
occassionally i'd go for Helldivers 2 on max difficulty to keep the adranaline flowing but most online vidya are garbage and full of gay jewish censorship

When they did Dawn of the Hunt, they decided to go nuts with the nerfing. Any builds I had that were pretty good and fun to play with were suddenly terrible and everything was a grindy slog. A couple of POE2 streamers rage quit over it.
Hmm, balancing issues aren't game breaking though. It's not released so expecting to not have your character potentially ruined due to changes before it's released is not a reasonable expectation.
Are the fundamentals of the game still good? If they are, it sounds like they can just tweak things around again before release to make things fun, it they aren't now.
A lot of the issues I have with Diablo 4 for example would require the entire game be essentially remake from scratch. There's fundamental problems they can't just tweak away.
