>If you're going to instigate and be the aggressor, not stopping until the police arrest you for being a jackass, having a gun on you probably isn't very smart
This is what you initially replied to. You don't *really* have the constitutional right to obstruction, noncompliance with lawful orders, and/or resisting lawful arrest. And doing all that, even with a legal firearm, is pretty dumb (exceptionally dumb with an illegal firearm). Firearms are force multipliers, just a fact of life that their presence heightens the tension of any interpersonal conflict.
Protesting with a gun is all fine and good. Blocking traffic is a crime. Interfering with execution of a warrant (what Pretti et al. were there to do)/obstruction is a crime. Refusing to get out of the street when directed by law enforcement is a crime. All of that, particularly the last one, are crimes that will result in an officer removing you from the situation.
None of those are constitutionally protected, and Pretti was engaging in all of those. "Oh but he helped a lady who was doing the same and got pushed out of the road" okay, she was committing crimes too. So I guess another obstruction and/or aiding and abetting while we're at it. So given all of those circumstances, if you're going to white knight for the criminal because "m'lady," then you deserve to be arrested. If you do it while carrying a Sig P320... well, if you carry the Sig P320, you're kinda announcing to the world that at least *you* think you deserve to be shot. Kidding, but adding a gun to the mix, legally possessed or not, just dumps on risk you could have avoided by not being a jackass in the first place (as CanticleFlugelhorn pointed out). And the gun being the P320, notorious for discharging unexpectedly, exponentially increases the risk further.
Still - deserve to be shot? No. Playing with fire. Yes.
>I protest with a gun I would probably also block cops from punching a lady
[LSS: you're creating a false equivalency](https://youtu.be/DCiaqJvbW_A?si=UrfAEKThIcEUUf3R&t=643) - it's not like this lady was innocently walking down the sidewalk and ICE came over and thumped her and mild-mannered Alex, who was just minding his own business, swooped in to save the day. No, they were all committing crimes, they were directed to move and didn't, so the moving happened for them, at which point the lady fell down (she was pushed to get her out of the street and AFAIK never punched) and things rapidly descended into chaos which ended in an unfortunate, but lawful shooting.
I linked BH because he and Donut are voicing basically my same philosophy of responsible carry. In the back of your mind you have to acknowledge that any conflict is now rapidly escalated to potentially a fatal conflict. And you should generally try to avoid that; Alex Pretti didn't IMO. Maybe he thought it was a worthy cause to die for; I don't, and I'm fairly confident most reasonable people agree (dying for foreign rapists and drug dealers is just gay).
`editedit: I just finished watching the BH video and holy shit I didn't realize how aligned we'd be in our takes. But again, I consider him a pretty reasonable person, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

I do not respect federal agents coming to my neighborhood with clear intention to fuck with and insult me or my community. I will not abide them deciding that everything a block around them is off limits to me and subject to arrest. I understand that to the letter of the law, this may be argued in court. But I am telling you as a fucking American I don’t care that this is the case. And it is specifically because they are federal agents that I am saying this. I don’t particularly *like* my local LEO’s, but I do understand their necessity is suppressing the local nigger population. I don’t fuck with them, they don’t fuck with me.
If agents of the US Marshals or some militarized branch of FEMA were coming to my community to check vax status I would be reacting in the same manner. This is specifically why federal policing agencies should NOT act in the mane that they are. Going into people’s fucking houses on administrative “warrants” who weren’t even the suspects of the crime is absolutely a bridge too far.
All this to say that I want immigrants gone. There are a lot of better and more effective ways to do that. It should be obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain that this will be used against you next. And retards cheering it on and kissing boots will do so to their fucking graves.
>I do not respect federal agents coming to my neighborhood with clear intention to fuck with and insult me or my community
If the illegal immigrant felons are what you call "your community," then you can fuck right off with them. Go make yourself Pretti.
>I don’t particularly like my local LEOs, but I do understand their necessity is suppressing the local nigger population. I don’t fuck with them, they don’t fuck with me.
Now imagine your local LEO's *weren't* doing that, and instead were just arresting illegal nigger felons and releasing them back into "your community." You'd probably like them a lot less. That's what the MPD are doing, leading ICE to do their job and the job of the MPD. That's why you don't see this basically anywhere else, particularly the damn border states that deport thousands more illegals. Because the local PDs do their damn job and transfer the illegals to ICE rather than releasing them. Then ICE *doesn't have to go into the community* to bring these guys in. Sounds like a good system, right?

Another false equivalency. Being unvaxxed isn't illegal (inb4 "but what if it was" bullshit - if wishes and buts were cock and nuts you'd have a mouthful of mine). Being an illegal immigrant *FELON* (who they are prioritizing by the Laken Riley Act) warrants ICE showing up to last known residence of the illegal. They aren't blanket calling for papers of anyone; they're executing arrest warrants using laws that have been in place since the founding (plus a few others). The only reason they end up blocking large parts of the road off and shit is *because the protesters are trying to obstruct them.* So then they *have* to set up a perimeter for both parties' safety, particularly with the violent felons that would flee, take hostages, shoot back, etc.
>All this to say that I want immigrants gone. There are a lot of better and more effective ways to do that
Again, yes, as basically *every other fucking state* is doing. If your local PDs cooperate with ICE in turning over the illegals they arrest, all of this goes away.

Sure, if I went to Switzerland illegally I'm sure they would boot me out too. If some local LEA wasn't complying with the Swiss government and let me out after I committed some violent crimes, you can *rest assured* the Swiss immigration enforcement would come down on my last known whereabouts like the hammer of God.
As it is, I'm 100% AOK with them enforcing border and citizenship laws on me that have been in place since the founding of the country (and only gotten looser, unfortunately, putting us in this predicament). Wanna know why they can use those laws against me? Cause I'm a fucking legal citizen, a native of the US going back to the founding, so if the feds have to say "Hey hold on bud, stand over there while we try to find this illegal immigrant child rapist..." I'll reply "Cool, thank you; let me know what I can do to help."
