This is a poignant warning to know what you're doing before going off the grid or "innawoods" if you feel so inclined to do so. Not saying to not do it, but don't be a fucking retard. This dude ran off having no plan whatsoever and died eating poisonous berries because he knew nothing about botany (he actually didn't starve to death).

If you are a normal person, you do not know what you're doing. Even if you grew up in a rural environment and went hunting fairly often, you still pretty don't know what you're doing (though feeding yourself might be a bit easier). The military trains every special operator and pilot for a month in SERE (survival, evasion, resistance, and escape) in these exact survival skills specifically because they know that nobody has any idea how to do all of this, downed pilots in ww2 kept dying because they *didn't know what they were doing*, and this was back then, let alone now.

There's lots of resources available nowadays. Use those resources now because you wont have them if you choose to live like this guy, or Ted Kaczynski (much more successful examlle). Plan over years, don't act on impulse.

Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed

I went through SERE and still wouldn’t feel entirely comfortable or prepared to venture off in Alaska. Maybe with a couple survival reference books, an SOS transponder, a rifle and a knife.
