All of the greatest fighter pilots to ever live were German (IE Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen AKA "The Red Baron") and most also flew the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the most produced fighter aircraft in history, during World War II.

The highest aerial kill count in history belongs to Hauptmann Erich Hartmann. Hartmann flew 1400 combat missions in WWII and had 352 kills. He was later a Colonel and trained pilots for the Bundeswehr, the West German Air Force (and successor to the Luftwaffe). He died in 1993.

The other highest kill counts belong to: Gerhard Barkhorn (301 kills), Gunther Rall (275 kills), Otto Kittel (267 kills), Walter Nowotny (258 kills), Wilhelm Batz (237 kills), Erich Rudorffer (222 kills), Heinrich Bär (220 kills), and Hermann Graf (212 kills). ALL GERMAN. None of the All-lied faggots came even close- some cunt Soviet allegedly had 60 (almost certainly total bullshit kike commie propoganda) and the "greatest" US ace had 40. As in 8% of what Hartmann had.

But my favorite German fighter pilot is Hauptmann Hans-Joachim Marseille, who amassed 158 kills in 382 combat missions. His number came from approx 70% less combat missions than Hartmann's, he was getting a kill for every two sorties he flew, and his kills were almost entirely against Western pilots (mostly the RAF) whereas the majority of Hartmann’s kills were against the inferior pilots & equipment of the Soviet Union. Marseille preferred to work alone, and would attack entire enemy formations by himself, either from above or below, often flying right through the middle of them and sometimes taking out five enemy aircraft at a time.
