>implying that FDR had to be convinced
Moreover, I've recently come to the belief that it wasn't over Germany alone, it was also about Japan as well. Japan obliterating zog French and zog British possessions in East Asia was obviously an issue for the jews. Also, an east asian superpower not under the direct control of jews that actively sought to overthrow western (jewish) hegemony in the region was a big deal. For similar reasons as an independent and powerful European country.
Actually, I'd argue it was *mostly* about the Japan issue. The US entrance into the war really didn't actually *do* all that much against Germany. The lend lease did all the heavy lifting, and it did what it needed to do. The Americans entered their first engagement with the germans about a year and a half after they declared war in the first place, and this was well after the soviets started turning the tide. It was about Japan.
Japan wasn't overtly anti jewish, most of them didn't know about jews at all. But they still played for the anti jewish team, and they upset jewish aspirations across all of Asia. This is the reason why Japan's military has been downgraded (forcibly by America) into something that is specifically designed to *not* be able to even defend its own borders. Not even the bundeswehr got that kind of treatment (well, Japan is technically more powerful than the bundeswehr. But Germany does not have a treaty of Versailles-esque document telling them they can't use their military for anything ever. Japan wasnt even allowed to send anyone for vietnam or the GWOT)
Also, nobody else could deal with that issue other than the United states. The soviets hands were tied in the west, and the British, French, and Dutch were getting their asses handed to them in virtually every engagement. Enter America.
Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed
