It's only a 'small amount' because of inflation. When he initially set that money aside for her when she was a child, that $5,000 would had been plenty to be used as a down payment for a starter home.

No, I meant in relation to what he likely had in assists upon passing. In other words if he had over 100k, throwing her the 5k instead of cutting her out completely pretty much makes anything she may try to get more dead in the water. That’s all I’m saying. Yes, I agree 5k should still be real money that can be somewhat life changing for the average person.
