He probably gave her a small amount so that she couldn’t come back and fight for more. Many people do this. It’s intelligent, and shows intention instead of just maybe “forgetting” someone in the will which attorneys will try to argue. With all that have to be incredibly sad, and evil in order to speak badly about a dead family member in this extreme manner for all the world to see on the internet. This is as bad, if not worse than OF whores still actively whoring after they have children.

It's only a 'small amount' because of inflation. When he initially set that money aside for her when she was a child, that $5,000 would had been plenty to be used as a down payment for a starter home.

No, I meant in relation to what he likely had in assets upon passing. In other words if he had over 100k, throwing her the 5k instead of cutting her out completely pretty much makes anything she may try to get more dead in the water. That’s all I’m saying. Yes, I agree 5k should still be real money that can be somewhat life changing for the average person.
