He probably gave her a small amount so that she couldn’t come back and fight for more. Many people do this. It’s intelligent, and shows intention instead of just maybe “forgetting” someone in the will which attorneys will try to argue. With all that have to be incredibly sad, and evil in order to speak badly about a dead family member in this extreme manner for all the world to see on the internet. This is as bad, if not worse than OF whores still actively whoring after they have children.

It's only a 'small amount' because of inflation. When he initially set that money aside for her when she was a child, that $5,000 would had been plenty to be used as a down payment for a starter home.
