Also I've read that they do this, and saw images of it, but the images in this post do not show it. It rather looks like they are creating some kind of reinforced dirt road.

There is no point in being skeptical if it solely leads to indifference. If you have conviction about the topic, investigate yourself. If you don't care, don't tell others what to believe.
If they can reduce palestinians to grease without doing any of that they could certainly do it with bulbheads. Your logic isn't holding up, Occam's Razor etc etc
