The whole point of apres ski is to have some good food, drink, and unwind yourself from the day of skiing.
Doing a week of 8+ hour ski days with a group of friends at a 4000 acre resort with a vertical of 3500ft doing apres ski afterwards with the a goofy but technically competent band plus maybe a hot tub soak or sauna was one of the best memories in my life. I would absolutely HATE if groids showed up at the end of the day and acted like groids. How awful.
But just like sailing, skiing has a financial barrier to entry too high for almost all groids. They seemed to have unlocked the cheat code of not participating in the costly skiing but just the "free" end of day concert.
