Especially since the context of this scene was that the brown immigrant girl only scored 80/100 on her exam and got a job offer because of it. I don't know how test scores work in the UK, but an 80% should be considered mediocre, not exceptional. If she were acing assignment after assignment, then maybe a recruiter would take notice and hire someone who hadn't even graduated yet. But this reeks of DEI hiring. *"We've found a brown female who isn't completely retarded, quick snatch her up so we can fill our diversity quota this quarter!"*
