Haplogroups just indicate that a certain individual, family, or tribe that belonged to a certain race which carried that mutation on the y chromosome proliferated particularly well, but this proliferation could have been 1000s and 1000s of years ago, it just never changed because y dna mutates extremely slowly.
I'm haplogroup N, I can marry someone of an entirely different race and have children with them. Let's say I have a son, my son will have haplogroup N, even though he's only half white.
