There's a good synergistic story that goes with this related to the Return to the Land project. In Pennsylvania there is a state representative trying to pass anti-RTTL legislation, banning fraternal orders that classify by race "to deny housing". The bill explicitly says groups are allowed to deny based on "religious" criteria. Which would allow towns like Kiryas Joel. The representative is Ben Waxman, and yes he is. It's so blatant right now.
