Or that movie where Hitler is alive and makes valid critiques of contemporary American culture, but the director included a scene where Hitler stomps a puppy for no reason to make sure the audience still hated him.

maybe in a sense they knew it was nonsense, since it's a plot point in the movie that nobody ends up caring about it.

Yeah I've seen that movie. Only time I've ever watched a German show with subs but, overall it was funny and I don't regret the watch. But yea the puppy thing was a low blow the man loved his dog.

I liked the part where Hitler told the modern day Nationalists that they weren't based enough. And then the movie ends with the message that you can't kill Hitler because he lives in all our hearts. It was such an uplifting message.
