It eliminates a lot of the worst countries from what I can see, but the choice of countries is completely nonsensical and schizophrenic, as though somebody gave a monkey access to a touch screen, upon which it tapped a bunch of random names.
The very notion that such a small people as the Macedonians - a people not even two million in number - are committing 'chronic welfare abuse' in America is practically the stuff of comedy. How many Macedonians are even in America?
And those Montenegrins - a people who number less than one million - are committing chronic welfare abuse, too?
And Mongolia, that country of under three million people, as well?
Bangladesh and Pakistan... but not the far more dangerous, expansionist, and ruinous India that sits between them?
All of the -stans... except Tajikistan?
'Those damn Belarussians, Macedonians, Moldovans, Mongolians, and Montenegrins, whose countries I admit I can't find on an unmarked map, but they're all taking our social welfare payments... Indians and Mexicans are absolutely honest and would never do such a thing. I strongly suspect that this list is actually less meaningful than it *prima facie* seems. Sure, at face value, it looks like no one can immigrate from cesspools like Nigeria and Somalia. Good. But there is no way that I'm going to believe for a minute that that means there will be *zero* immigrants from either of those cesspools throughout 2026.
What about family reunification, student visas, etc? I don't believe that there won't be pathways to residency for students from Nigeria or Somalia. It probably just refers to some standard immigration pathway(s).
It's amazing how difficult it is for Whites to admit that they are plain and simply uncomfortable about immigration, such that they have to come up with some kind of economic or securitarian excuse for immigration restriction rather than just admitting what would be plain and obvious if they really thought about the *why* of it. They're so afraid of being 'racist', 'xenophobic', and the like that they can't simply be honest and admit that what they are feeling more and more is: 'We have too many immigrants; we have too much "diversity"'.
We have only won on this issue once Whites cease needing to find economic or securitarian rationalizations for why they dislike foreigners and immigration, and both realize and will willingly admit: 'We have too many nons. It does not matter whether they are committing welfare fraud or not. It does not matter whether they work or not. We do not care if the jobs that we supposedly won't do are not done, never done. We do not want them around us *because* they are nons, and that is sufficient reason for not wanting them around us.'
Instead, they have to come up with some arbitrary-sounding excuse like that they are committing welfare fraud. Yeah? And what if Newsom becomes president, sets up some committee that declares, whether correctly or not, that they aren't committing welfare fraud at higher rates than other peoples already in America? Ban lifted, 'enshittification' continues apace. There is absolutely no way that Belarussians, Macedonians, Moldovans, or Montenegrins are rorting the welfare system in America. They're there because the sheer Russophobic, 'anti-fascist' hysteria that pervades the Anglosphere and Western Europe leads them to target any country that they perceive is insufficiently anti-Russian. The given reason for the ban, that immigrants from every single listed country are involved in 'chronic welfare abuse', is a total farce. They should just admit that they don't want people from countries they see as Russian allies coming to America.
