Hypothetical: What's worse, buying a Chinese EV (that spies on you) for a little $$ (which all funnels back to the CCP), or buying a Globohomo EV (that also spies on you) for a lot of $$$$ (built by foreign invaders) with the profits funneling back to Goldbergstein bankers?

I've read several articles about how affordable, cheap Chinese EVs are highly problematic for Europe and would spell doom for America if they were ever allowed to be sold there. The two biggest issues are that they might catch on fire and they're possibly *(probably)* spying on you.

Meanwhile, Every modern vehicle with GPS or Sirius XM access (active or not) or OnStar, SYNC, Connected Drive, etc *is spying on you* and reporting it to insurance companies.

Both are pretty equal in terms of horribleness. Ironically the people who champion this stuff (climate retards) are often completely unaware that lithium mining is incredibly harmful to the environment and that li-ion batteries are super wasteful. Those batteries are most of the value of the car, and by the time they no longer hold a charge in four years they'll be worthless and a massive fire hazard. You can't extinguish a battery fire. The Chinese ones are probably ever-so-slightly better for affordability alone. Just make sure you have a will.
