Well.... according to that document floating around, if it's really his, he took Pascal's Wager. So there's no knowing if it was genuine or not.

A roulette wheel with a known bias of 51% black and 49% red outcomes exists.

If you bet $100 on black on said roulette wheel, is that bet not genuine? Are you not genuinely expressing belief in that known bias?

Just because one arrives at a conclusion intellectually and not through "vibes" or whatever doesn't make it less genuine; I would even argue it makes it more genuine.
