Yeah, a thread introducing the new mods. And a few days before he made a thread asking for mod nominations because he had some sort of family emergency and wouldn't be able to spend one hour a month mismanaging the board anymore. I'm just glad he took the time to hand it off instead of leaving it abandoned like happened to c/gaming and is currently happening to c/conspiracies.
