I've been surprised to see whites not fix this perception
Example: "white nationalism" for a lot of people probably is thought to mean "killing all non-whites to make a country fully white"
Recently though the "remigration" term seems to be saying like the exact same thing as what "white nationalists" often want, but no one thinks it means "killing everyone who doesn't remigrate"... but rather it emphasizes a peaceful process of non-natives moving back to wherever they are native to
