Churchill decided to go to war against Germany in the defense of the sovereignty of Poland, then turned around and gave Poland into the grubby arms of the Soviets, along with the rest of eastern Europe.

Truly a despicable man, and his stated justification to enter the war was a lie, and his actions were horrific
