What's worse is that grandma or a near relative wouldn't raise the kid either.

A few of my wife's friends refuse to take care of their elderly parents or they refuse to build any kind of relationship with their step children. These ladies attend church regularly and seem pretty "based" when you meet them. But, years later, the truth seeps out. They hold grudges against people for the stupidest shit.
