The common counter argument you'll hear today is "it didn't work, Hitler's economy was crashing by the time the war came"

in same breath "the whole world needed to attack Germany because if they are left unchecked they would grow too strong and take over the world"

Speaking of crashing: One British Pound from the year 1900 would be worth over 15,000 Pounds today. One pound from 1940 would be worth over 7,000 Pounds. Seems like liberal democracy didn't quite work as intended. Or maybe it worked exactly as intended....

Well, at least they're not speaking German. Hope they like speaking Arabic and ebonics.

which was a complete lie. it wasn't crashing. it was a world-wide industrial powerhouse and it was only gaining steam, and this new upstart european nation demanded internal, national control of their own currency. not to be parted-out and leached on by private international money changers and middlemen.

and this great industrial base could absolutely afford to give free money to a household of 6. after all, isn't that what the wealth of a nation is for? for the people who do the things and raise the next generation of your people? a nation is it's people.

How do you counter the common argument of "they were pillaging money from all the countries they conquered and using the population as a labor force to prop up the rest of their economy."?
