this is how power works. laws are enforced for some people, for others not so much. the bill of rights is a piece of paper. it's the nice-sounding facade while real power is exercised as the ruling class sees fit.
stop arguing about hypocrisy, fairness, rights and laws. Literally no one with power cares. Not a single one. When you argue from these positions you just out yourself as a rube, a mark, a person that does not understand how power works. someone who will never have power or leadership, and a person who will never win, ever.
