This is an interesting study. Thank you for sharing! I've always experienced this myself and found it to be true. Half the women touch my hair and admire it. Half the women mention cutting it in some way ("doesn't it bother you it's so long? I could never manage hair like that. It must take forever to dry, doesn't it? Are you trying to be real life Rapunzel? Don't your kids tug it? Have you ever cut it short? It would look soooo cute shorter. You have the face for shorter hair you could totally pull it off!").

I've found women's hair changes post partum and in menopause, which seems to be when women typically cut their hair shorter to hide the loss of volume. Having long/thick hair as a mom/older gal seems to be unusual.
