Vlad the Impaler. The level of demoralization he caused to the Ottomans is legendary. And he did it by impaling 20000 of them, creating a forest of death. It's an absolute, glorious nightmare.

See, do this with jews, traitors, niggers, shitskins, and see how well it works. Just imagine you'd gather together a bunch of central bankers and traitorous politicians and put them on spikes in a busy street. Alive - let the forensics figure out that they enjoyed the ride to the last. Maybe some stay alive, unable to be saved from it.

Because it's not about dealing with them only, it's about sending a message. The message being "this is only the beginning." And the effort taken to do that expresses a lot of dedication. Also to keep them alive.

It's psycho-terror beyond what horror movies and games can depict. Because they just kill people instantly after some chase. That... that exceeds imagination, it's the peak.

The problem is, the creation of such a man breaks him fundamentally. The Ottomans took Vlad and his brother from his father as slave-tribute and were both turned into bacha-bazi/rape-toys. So you can see where the rage came from. Yes, he is very much a needed type for jobs that have to be done, but should be removed from that position as soon as there's no job left to do. Everyone focuses on Vlad's resounding success with the Ottomans, but he had to scorched-earth his own lands to do it. He also continued the practice of impaling on *his own population* after the Ottomans were chased off.

"You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain."
