Folks, the word "hell" in the Bible is not the realm of the damned. It is the realm of the dead AKA "HADES" AKA "SHEOL". EVERYONE goes to "hell" when they die, even Jesus. The protestants have this doctrine completely wrong. The Bible is perfectly clear on this matter.
You're working from the paradigm of the protestants, which isn't based on the text of the Bible despite their claims.
In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything like the protestant "devil" in the Bible at all.
Do a little more research relying on people who don't read their theology into the text, see what the Bible actually says and then figure out what people actually said back in those days, you'll be surprised.
