How does this compare to the original version? I've always seen hour long cuts for years before this, and always thought Europa to be the shorter, more up-to-date version of TGSNT.

The original is almost 10x longer and goes in detail into the history. This one on the other hand connects the brief history lesson to current events, and has a nice worldwide call to action at the end. In short they complete each other. Imagine the blitzkrieg edition as an intro to the original.
