Jesus was an Israelite who lived at a time when the Israelite religion was in its death throws. He revolutionized the Israelite religion which was reborn as Christianity. The righteous Israelites who followed Him were the first Christians. The unrighteous Israelites who did not follow Him were the first jews. How can Jesus be born a jew if jews did not exist yet?
