Go read Genesis. There were other “people” around when god created Adam.

In Genesis chapter one, God creates humanity and tells them to multiply. Then in chapter two He creates the garden and a Adam & Eve inside it. Later, when Cain gets kicked out of the family, he worries about what other people will do to him traveling alone, then he goes to a place called Nod and finds a wife. Adam was the ancestor of Noah and Abraham, but clearly wasn't the only human God created at the beginning.

That sounds like the "two creation stories" theory of Genesis. Fair. How'd I know if I'm a son of Adam though?

Well, you can't really. We don't have genealogy records going back that far, just vague traditions. But the parable of Lazarus and the rich man shows that your bloodline alone won't save you and the bit with the Canaanite woman shows that even those outside the blood can find salvation. So, repent your sins, follow Christ as best you can, and you're gonna make it.
