How dangerous is c-section birth? Should we trust doctors about it?

I've heard c-section is necessary if the baby isn't in the correct position after a certain time, it seems a bit ridiculous to me but I don't know shit so I wanted to clear that up. Also why do they do them more than a week before the due date?

Fair enough brother. I get where yore coming from. Wholeheartedly believe any medical professional will downplay the side effects of the procedure. If your wife is healthy enough, perhaps consider a home birth? Just for the love of god watch them like a hawk to make sure ZERO vaccines or antibiotics are put in your child.
