Good video, but she's conflating colonizing mostly empty land with conquering and ruling a subject people. If a conqueror leaves, their subjects go back to ruling themselves. If a colonizer leaves, the locals starve to death.

The reason no one talks about non-White colonizers is because there *aren't* any.

Great summation. The only thing I would add that she glossed over is.. Slavery was in no way pivotal to the foundational prosperity of America.
