That's been my assumption for a while now.
Hot take but, other than the security vulnerabilities enabling randos to delete video etc, I'm fine with this. I'd rather these cameras be completely accessible to the public than gatekept by any LEO. This way I can solve my own crimes without waiting for police to get off their asses (read: never) and, if I *am* charged, they can't fabricate evidence before they present it because I can access it immediately and prove they forged it.
If you want privacy, it's well past time you started wearing full body coverings everywhere you go.
