Fundamentally, this is a physical impossibility and the rewards are minuscule. Yes, there are planets with diamonds and other goodies, but what do you think how they are produced? By insane levels of pressure and conditions that make being there for humans even a second impossible. There are also planets with life, but they are rare, thus so far away, their atmosphere may be incompatible with ours, the life forms could be lethal to us, which makes living there impossible. But one could use AI or remote drones to extract resources, or other advanced technologies, but only in low quantities.

But let's just assume it would be worth it and it's possible for sci-fi purposes. How could we become a spacefaring civilization? In order to achieve that, what is necessary is for a high-IQ civilization to be at its peak performance. A great economy based on a huge productivity and creativity, functional cooperative strategies, maximum possible free speech, no factors that needlessly cause harm to it. This means:

- No jewish usury via central banking. Them giving themselves and governments a possibility to create money and inject it into the economy from "outside" is essentially an additional tax on EVERYBODY. This effectively puts the economy into an eternal stranglehold, causing too much burden to every person.
- The presence of foreigners and niggers, who range from parasitic to outright violently aggressive are completely out of question.
- The flow of information being tainted by jews, thus being corrupt and subject to all sorts of illusions makes it impossible. This even causes the concept of corporations, which are often just adult daycares yearning to look good for jewish money, along with "corporate culture", which us a massive waste of potential.
- Politics cannot revolve around being forced to choose the lesser evil.
- The very ideological views of people must change, away from the delusions of ideologies revolving around "egalitarianism", which have engulfed people of all sides. It's simple: Women are not equal to men, niggers are not equal to humans, subhumans aren't equal to us, and people have variances roughly following a bell-curve across multiple dimensions.
- The idea of peaceful resolution is a fallacy. It invites misery later just to have peace now - and that delay in time passes across generations. It's a bad strategy on a large-scale.

So what kind of civilization can even come close to attempt space travel? A civilization that adopts an ideology where all members of its society follow the same direction - the betterment of their own nation, their own people. All who would have this view would be nationalistic, so foreigners who would have to be nationalistic should naturally be with their own people. And foreigners who are not nationalistic are completely worthless anyway. Given that you never know when foreigners betray you (the nature of betrayal is that it occurs when it's already too late), why bother with them at all? You can't prevent treason from your own people, but you can very well exclude prime candidates for treason: Foreigners. That means jews, niggers, sandniggers, pajeets, latinos, gypsies. All but your own people - those who are genetically-racially your people, not on paper. Now, if you think you can deport them, good luck finding recipients who actually want them.

A civilization like that could find allies with other like-minded civilizations. If it isn't just about nationalism, but about sticking to one's own race, the amount of people who can cooperate increases, the pool of competence unites. This can lead to true diversity of thought - not how "diversity" is understood today, pouring in shit into the soup. The ideology is similar to National Socialism, but it's different.

This applies to reality as well as fiction. And even if spacefaring is impossible, the benefits of these changes would be unthinkable. This is btw my personal vision.

This is the reason why for my space combat/exploration game the player can only be White. The skin color slider only goes from White with a tan to Nordic (never seen the sun before) White. Of course there is more to the background story, the player needs enemies to shoot, and a lot of them. But the type of civilization is the same. It will have a Starship Troopers type of flair, but the enemies aren't alien arachnids, but non-Whites, including jews. And aliens in other galaxies will be xenophobic as much as the player faction is, so it's automatically war. That means to be xenophobic is the universally common, reasonable, civilizational stance to have. It means all spacefaring aliens went through the same processes as you did, and have similar views.

> The idea of us finding new trade partners or subjugating an alien race is utterly ridiculous fantasy.

Exactly. Why indulge in that risk at all? The aliens could secretly plot the destruction of humans to get to all the resources uncontested. Or they could act for whatever reason. Vice versa too, there is no reason why aliens should trust humans either.

> If we are going to travel the stars, it would only be because it would have some economic benefit.

Yes, but someone brought up survival as well. That would be a good motivator too, if it would work. In my game it will be about that. But that's for the purpose of its setting. Can't have all nons be eradicated as backstory.

When I was in junior high school, I took an English class, and the teacher explained that there were only ever 2 stories, and really, only 1.

The 2 stories were: (a) man-v-man, and (b) man-v-nature.

Except man-v-nature is really man-v-himself. IE, in one of the stories we read, a man was trying to survive the cold in Alaska. He wanted to build a fire to warm himself, but his hands were so cold he couldn't even strike a match. He had failed to anticipate such a condition and failed to prepare for it. His past self had failed his future self.

In my mind, the only good space universes are ones where mankind is competing against each other, like in the Dune series. Some settings simply make aliens humans with funny hats, like in Star Trek or Star Wars. The Klingons, for instance, are only different from the earth Humans because they have a weird culture. That's the only aspect that ever comes up in a story line. Heck, even Warhammer 40k ends up man-v-man because the Eldar, the Orks, and every other race, even the Warp demons, are all really just humans wearing funny costumes.

I liked the Ender's Game series for this (although he basically copped out by finding technology to save everyone).

First, humans come up against an alien race that attacks them so they have to wage an existential war against it. But it turns out that the problem was communication; the two are so different that the bugs didn't even understand what they were doing to the humans until they were almost eradicated, but they were generally peaceful once understood.

Then they met the second intelligent species which could not exist or reproduce without a quasi-intelligent virus that kills 100% of humans and the food they need.

Both pose hard moral questions about non-human intelligence that don't presuppose that aliens will be like us with funny makeup. We may be dealing with hiveminds who have no concept of *language*, of species that are biologically genocidal towards us, but intellectually peaceful.

Dune does this well because no matter who weird they get (looking hard at the Bene Tleilax here), they're still fundamentally human with human baggage. Aliens are a whole other story.

Another good exploration of this is Terry Pratchet's Dark Side of the Sun. Aliens range from the funny hat variety (because they evolved beside humans on a colony world) to space-faring biologicals, to naturally occuring super computers, to the totally incomprehensible. One species, the Creapii, tries to understand the universe by understanding the perspectives of other species; trying to think like humans even though they're hard shelled octopi who live on cooler suns.

Of course there are possibilities and hypotheticals. In my case I need spaceship vs spaceship combat, and a lot of it.

And the backstory will be roughly this (perhaps just implied, not explicitly told): After ~1 century Whites (let's call them Europeans) managed to get rid of foreigners and their influences in their countries. Their numbers got quite decimated through the same agendas we are facing today, and people finally learned that all these ideas about equality and "cultural melting pot" were complete nonsense. They also noticed the jews and got rid of them. But all they did is to take refuge in smaller parts of their countries - they "segregated." It was ethnically pure, but it was too late to deport foreigners, as they couldn't hope to win wars any more.

As racist as Orientals were known to be, they still clung to save face on the public stage, so they were rather neutral. They wanted to avoid wars. The jews took refuge in israel, China and some other countries. It went bad for all of them as the Europeans isolated themselves from all others.

The political-medial pressure to infiltrate the Europeans rose over time. All these brownoids and jews yearned to get a piece of that cake. It was difficult to maintain the status quo for the Europeans, but they managed. Even though they were in a weakened state, they were still powerful enough not to be messed with. They also had nukes.

After decades they managed to develop means for interstellar space travel. And once that project stabilized, they built massive space ships to transport ALL Europeans from Earth to settle on a new planet. The other nations weren't happy about that, and even though it was too late to stop them, they immediately attacked with all they had.

After a while, very far away from Earth, the Europeans found a habitable planet that was similar to Earth, so they settled on it (let's name it Europe). They had a century of prosperity and peace, it thrived in all possible ways. Their population count grew back, they made massive leaps in technological advancements.

And then one day the brownoids lead by jews showed up. It was a complete mystery how they managed to get into space. But it turned out, over the past century they had plenty of conflicts and wars, and even killed most Orientals like the Chinese. They retrieved all technology that was left behind by the Europeans as they left Earth, and managed to get a head-start. It still took them a century though - they used the Chinese as slave laborers and slave scientists, while the jews were the leaders of these vicious pack.

The first thing they asked from the Europeans was to land and visit their planet. The Europeans were quite shocked, but they remembered from their ancestors not to trust any of the pack, and to assume maximum hostility. And indeed what they tried was to settle with the Europeans and to exploit them again n one way or another. To sleaze their way into their society with armies of beggars and lowlifes. They just didn't want to leave them alone, ever. No matter how far they went, the shitbrood followed them.

There was only one solution: The total extermination of their kind. This time the Europeans had the tools - they had vastly superior technology and they had the numbers. The first response was to use planetary weapons to destroy their ship. The entire planet was defended to such a degree that the pack of thugs couldn't even get close to the solar system. The Europeans had a century of time to build up planetary defenses and to improve them. So while they couldn't get even close to Europe, they could still harass them outside of it. The Europeans have ventured to solar systems all around to harvest resources from planets and moons.

And this time they won't just sit back and hope for peace. While they had the numbers, because they bred like rats and thus could build more space ships, the technology of Europeans was vastly superior. For one, they were simply more powerful in combat - through skill, durability and firepower a single European could take out a dozen or more of them. Second, when their ship got destroyed, they automatically initiated emergency warp-jumps to their home base. That means while the mystery meat thugs were killed and their space ships got destroyed, the Europeans just had to recover home. They also had phase-shifting technology, just in case.

The Europeans weren't out to negotiate and find peaceful solutions. The complete extermination was an unalterable goal. It wasn't just the thugs who were hostile towards Europeans, but the Europeans were hostile towards them.

This is essentially where the game sets in, and at the start the players will start with a mere space ship. They'll have to build up everything - space stations, mining, items, exploration, etc. Why? Because having some kind of predefined central main base hub sucks. And it's more interesting if players build everything. Europe, the planet, will probably be just invisible and invincible - it will be *somewhere*. As the player, your task is to conquer the galaxy and make it a better place.

And in the entire first galaxy, the primary one, there are multiple hostile factions - various brands of shitskins, all with different behaviors. They occupy large swaths of territory, harvest resources, build ships, patrol, attack and defend. They will act organically - when attacked too much, they become defensive. When left alone, they become aggressive. While difficult and requiring multiple players, their territories can be completely annihilated. In that case they send a new convoy to settle in a different territory, not far away from where players are.

A player's space station that is attacked and damaged too heavily is forced to go into phase-shift mode, where it ceases to operate and has to be liberated before it can operate again. So there is a synergy between players who focus on killing them and those who harvest and produce items.

And niggers are extinct, because they were even too bad as slaves, and only meant problems. Problems, that could be easily solved. So the brownoids just killed them on Earth and took the resources of Africa for themselves.
