What's really fun about Austrian Economics is how obvious it is. It doesn't seem controversial because it's just doing obvious logic so simple it's inconceivable that someone would see it as controversial. But soy-conomists have a big problem with anyone bringing logic into economics. They think if they can measure something that's all they need.
It's like if physicists turned their nose up at understanding gravity because they can measure it. Or if electrical engineers didn't understand why capacitors work and just said I can put a charge on this thing and measure that there is charge on it later. I guess you could build circuits off of that. But what a boring way to understand the world. Of course then you'd never learn what permittivity of space is or what modifies it and you'd never get radio or fiber optics.
The most important policy in the world that runs our economy is mostly managed by people this stupid.
