the inverse is true for China, they will tell you that they have quadrupled their population in the last 60 years, but we know that they had a one child policy for the majority of that time and that their population is collapsing, they just can't tell India that there's only 600 million of them or they would be seen as weak and easy targets

India is the biggest paper tiger ever. They flaunt their military but you cannot have a high tech and advanced military with a miserable country that's a complete fucking dump with no infrastructure. China actually does have infrastructure and it's practically a 1st world country in many parts. A few battles with China would bring India to its knees, especially if china attacked what little infrastructure they actually have
