This is a painting by Paul Delaroche. It depicts a young Christian woman that was sacrificed to the Roman gods, then thrown into the Tiber River. It's important to remember how far we've come from the times where we worshipped in secret. We must be grateful for the freedom to worship Christ in public, and we must fight to defend it.
