The sheriff seems so proud that a bunch of legally owned firearms and accessories and extract of a product that it legal in 49 other states (and was being sold exclusively to those states) may land a 26 year in prison for life. The only actually illegal thing would be whatever the IEDs were that they mentioned they found during the raid. Cool, those are worth maybe about 36 months if that's actually what he had.

I don’t be,I’ve a fucking word they say, but even if he had IEDs, I’m ok with it as long as they had no proof of any intentions of using them nefariously. Too bad he didn’t get to use them on them in Minecraft. Now they’re going to try to lock him up for his life.

Legally speaking, if it was registered before 1986 and is legal in your state, then yes. Good luck getting one though; the cheapest transferable MGs are MAC-10s and MAC-11s and they usually run about $8-12k when one goes up for sale. Transferable AR lowers are usually in the $25-30k range.

The closest you can legally get otherwise would be an FRT or a Super Safety, but they've had shaky legal standing in the recent past (Rare Breed did win their case against the ATF for FRTs though).

It's rhetorical, I know none of those are legal full auto and I know he doesn't have a class 3
