I might mention that these pictures are probably of low security prisons for lesser crimes. Basically half-way houses. Our high security prisons look like every other prison in the civilized world, just slightly better maintained, and I mean slightly, they often get cooked on hot summer days with bad ventilation, and shitskins ruin the public kitchens and other mutual areas.
