some traditional investor advice is honestly to just buy like index funds and hold, they'd say everything else is guesswork and that your stonks that went up could have easily also gone down (although those are also probably thought to be good companies traditional investors would recommend too because they're reputable and well known)
but I mean people can avoid the stonk market entirely and buy things like real estate as well too, idk

in a IRA, you can get in and out of silver PSLV to gold PHYS and back with no fees, no tax issues, just one and a half day delay block to GO BACK again. physical has tax issues, fees, spread, irs reporting, thwarting "in and out" weekly trading. in a IRA you can sell silver on every 1 to 2% daily spike and buy back on any 2-day-long dip.

Also when you buy and sell stocks through a broker, they report all your gains and positions to the IRS. Whether you report to the IRS or not, your broker is reporting your profits and positions. There is no privacy.
Whereas the government has no idea how many gold and silver coins i paid cash for, how many i own, or when i sell them for cash. I never pay any capital gains on gold and silver coins. Yet all your profits via corporate stock market are reported to IRS by your compliant broker.
