if anything it allowed the jews to pretend they are "repentent servants of Christ" until they finally managed to get a smidgen of power and then they'd immediately reach for the Knife

I agree that the church was too easy on them. They should have been expelled or exterminated. But I don't think there's any evidence a pagan Rome that never accepted Christianity would have solved the jew problem. The ashkenazi population was created by middle eastern jews mixing with italians, who were pre-Christian Romans.

You don't even get 10% down the page before (AD) starts. From 100 AD all the way to Nazi Germany, give or take. Granted, Christianity maybe wasn't in full swing yet in the earlier years, but still.

Racism did not exist until the end of the 19th century. It was only with the understanding of evolution (Darwin) and of genetic inheritance (Weismann) that we realized that different races have physiological differences. Before then everyone believed that "*all men are created equal*", it's even in the declaration of independence.
Yes ancient people saw that niggers were savages but they thought it was because they didn't hear about Jesus yet, or that they were backward for some other unknown reason.
