apparently the original features the podium-speaker as also having a straight top (hence the placards), but this I feel is a much more appropriate version, and one I used to assume was the original.

What'd be funny is if it was a star bit with a picture of a flathead stuck over it, like how jews disguise themselves and claim to be "just like you guys" (which I guess was the original point of the cartoon to begin with anyway). Unfortunately I have no idea how you would draw that at all
