This appears to be fake news as they say. Yes he was fired for the trans stuff but his imprisonment appears to be totally related to repeatedly disobeying judges orders to stay off school grounds since he was fired. Yahoo News isn’t always the best but they do link directly to the judges ruling. It states:

“ Mr. Burke has not been imprisoned or fined for his views on transgender issues, which he is perfectly entitled to have and to articulate. Mr. Burke has been imprisoned, and fined, for contempt of court, because he has breached court orders directing him not to trespass on school property.”

10. I would like to make it crystal clear to Mr. Burke what he must do to purge his contempt and to be released from prison.

11. He must give an undertaking to the court that he will not enter on, or trespass on, the school's property again without the school's consent. That is all. (The issue of outstanding fines will however remain.)

12. He does not have to give any undertaking that he will follow the school principal's direction to call a child 'they' or 'them'. He does not have to accept transgenderism. He does not have to stop protesting against transgenderism. He does not have to change his religious beliefs one iota.

13. The idea that Mr. Burke is being imprisoned because of his religious beliefs is nonsense. This court does not imprison people for their religious beliefs. Mr. Burke is being imprisoned because he is trespassing on other people's property. No more. No less.

Not sure where the “life in prison” claim comes from, they don’t go into that and I couldn’t find an article that mentioned it.

Yes, but he was denied his post (unjustly) for refusing to tell the naked troonperor he had no clothing (or ovaries), so it is tangential to his refusal to bow before the idol of troonism. They cant lock him up (yet) for refusing to repeat talmudist lies, so they have to go the roundabout way and get him for "trespassing". Ireland is still majority Catholic, if they were openly imprisoning people for being Catholic, there might be a bit of a revolt, so they have to use technicallities so the frog doesnt notice its being boiled.

I know you mean well, but all you are doing is making excuses for your enemies.

Don't be that guy.

One thing I’ll always be is a man that tells the truth, even if that truth is something I don’t like. I don’t think he should have been fired, but lying about my enemies to make them seem worse is something I won’t do and don’t need to do. The shit they’re actually doing is bad enough.

Probably because one can be held indefinitely while under Contempt of Court.

Thanks, I remember seeing there was more to the story but I didn't remember what it is

So... he can and probably will avoid life sentence with some kind of apology? Maybe this is temporary theatrics to draw attention to the issues?

Not even an apology, just a written promise that he won’t go back on school grounds.

It must be theatrics or something to draw attention like you said but then it doesn’t really help your cause to be obviously lying about why you’re being imprisoned.

Why did he keep going back on school property?
