I think the impact of contraception is underestimated, and when I type this, people might think I mean the immediate prevention of kids being born unexpectedly

But no, I mean more of the secondary effects of this, especially of the intentional disruption of having lots of kids.

I feel I have indirectly noticed people become more socialist and for higher taxes, regulations, destruction of freedoms that a healthy society simply out of economic necessity might not tolerate (due to needing to provide for larger families). They have more kids, so need to "liberalize" the econoky and have more freedom to provide for them.

When theu use the contraception it puts society into a death spiral of higher costs and less jobs leading to more people "afraid" to have kids and supporting more socialist policies.
