You're right. People still seem to have extra discretionary money but instead of buying gold and silver bullion like me they are getting obsessed over collectible items. It's the trap of consumerism.

"I'm tired man." and i could sense the exhaustion in his voice even though it was just a text message.
I don't get it. I have my movie and music collections and that makes sense to me. But to collect fucking *cups*, or *shoes*?
