*Really* hope Switzerland is only so low due to French, German and Italian parentage. And not just niggers and arabs with EU passports from there.

It's because of outside Europeans. It's extremely common for Europeans to go to Switzerland for work because swiss work pays very well. Typically they move back with the amassed wealth thats worth way more than wherever they came from, sometimes not. In spain, the average monthly salary is about 2k. In Switzerland, it's about 4 times that plus the franc holds more value than the euro. By german standards the Swiss salary is doubled, by french standards it's a bit more than doubled, so on and so forth. Again, these are averages. Skilled swiss labor is even more lucrative. Even Scandinavians earn way less money than the Swiss do.
