Machining as a business

Anyone here have any experience with machining? I know there was a user here a while back that was giving advice on starting a small shop (dieimmunereaktion) but I don't know what happened to him.

My question is do you guys have any ideas for parts to make and how to sell them, get customers,etc.?

Do not do this, making and selling parts that require a serial is a fast track ticket to prison. Unregulated gun parts however, that's fine.
