Anyone here have any experience with machining? I know there was a user here a while back that was giving advice on starting a small shop (dieimmunereaktion) but I don't know what happened to him.

My question is do you guys have any ideas for parts to make and how to sell them, get customers,etc.?

Whatever you do shop wise, pick up a cheap 3D printer (im talking under $300) some time down the line, + a food dehydrator. You can learn to 3D model really easy. Buy $15 PLA rolls, dry it, and print all the helpful functional knicknacks you can. If it gives you even 0.25% efficiency in manufacturing something, it's worth it.
