15 years ago, I'd dress super-sharp for my office job.
Freshly ironed white business shirt, formal vest to compliment my tie if it's cold, formal jacket or trench coat if it was cold. Shoes and watch would get polished every weekend.
22 year old me based by ties and style on senior management where I worked.
It didn't take much effort: Five business shirts left soaking in a basin of laundry detergent until the weekend. Wash them with the whites. Iron them all. 'A total of about 30 minutes.
I felt sharp and it helped remind me to be professional.
